Kagocel Becomes Official Sponsor of the 2021 ISU World Figure Skating Championships

The antiviral drug Kagocel once again provides sponsorship for the organization and holding of a competition in one of the most beautiful and spectacular sports: from March 22 through March 28, the ISU World Figure Skating Championships will be held in Stockholm.

Arkady Ivanchenko, Head of the Marketing and Advertising Department of the Nearmedik Group, notes that the Kagocel brand has been consistently supporting events aimed at promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. The Nearmedic group of companies has been sponsoring international competitions since 2018. "It is not worth wasting a single day staying in bed because of illness. We stand for a forward-looking and responsible attitude towards one’s health. Therefore, popularizing figure skating in Russia and in the world, with all its elegance and grace resulting from a huge amount of work behind it, is an important project for us. In 2020, the preservation of health and prevention of viral infections were of particular global importance. We believe and hope that this year nothing will prevent us from personally supporting Russian athletes at the championships," he said.

The qualification for the upcoming world championships was based on the results of 2019, when the Russian team won five medals, including one gold. Therefore, at the Stockholm championship, the Russian national team will be represented by three participants (pairs) in women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance, as well as by two participants in men's singles.

One of the most beautiful and spectacular sports events, the ISU World Figure Skating Championships will be broadcast on TV Channel One.
