Kagocel to sponsor the ISU European Figure Skating Championships in 2022

The antiviral drug Kagocel will continue to support figure skating competitions, despite the cancellation of the ISU European Championships in 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The brand will sponsor the 2022 ISU European Figure Skating Championships scheduled to be held in Tallinn (Estonia).

"We respect the ISU decision to cancel this year's European Figure Skating Championships and remain a partner of the International Skating Union. Today, the most important task of the world community is to take care of the health of people, prevent the growth of morbidity, and promote a responsible attitude of people towards health issues. The brand Kagocel will continue to contribute to the solution of this problem. When the period of cancellations and postponements of mass events is over, and the competitions so much appreciated by the audience return to their usual schedule, we will again have many reasons to be proud of Russian figure skaters and enjoy amazing performances of Europe's best athletes," said Arkady Ivanchenko, Head of the Marketing and Advertising Department of the Nearmedic group of companies.

The ISU European Figure Skating Championships was scheduled to take place from January 25 through January 31 in Zagreb, Croatia. In December 2020, the International Skating Union decided to cancel the competition due to the epidemiological situation, and postponed the event to 2022.
